Parks on the Air (POTA)

Parks on the Air is a global amateur radio program that encourages portable operations from parks and protected natural areas. Operators set up temporary stations in parks, activate them by making contacts, and award points to both activators and hunters.

As DL7EDU, I enjoy taking my QRP gear into the field for POTA activations around Berlin and beyond. These outdoor operations combine the technical challenge of portable radio with hiking, fresh air, and the satisfaction of operating in beautiful locations.
